LINKED FILES VIEWER
Summarize asset usage in one view
Xinet® WebNative® Suite Linked Files Viewer offers a visual representation of where and how often an asset has been used, increasing efficiency when global changes are needed.
Feature Overview
Viewing a visual summary of the documents in which an asset has been placed can be very helpful in determining where that asset is currently being used. This standard WebNative Suite feature is provided as a plug-in for Adobe InDesign and an XTension for QuarkXPress, and makes tasks, such as changing a corporate logo, quicker and more reliable.
View All Documents that Share a Common Asset
Working with this feature is simple and straightforward. With the proper permissions, users can quickly identify all of the documents in which a particular asset has been placed. The Linked Files Viewer displays file previews for InDesign, QuarkXPress and PDF documents that contain a common asset—even after the document has been archived.
From the View Linked Files tab, users can easily identify all of the documents in which assets have been placed and download those documents quickly for necessary changes. Having this information so readily available reduces time spent searching for files, and simplifies the process of making changes to numerous documents using the same asset.
