What’s included when you buy Xinet® WebNative® Suite
The following components are included with your purchase of a WebNative Suite server license:

Supported servers and client machines for WebNative Suite
The following servers and client machines are supported by WebNative Suite.
Supported WebNative Server Platforms
WebNative Suite 17.0 and WebNative Archive run on a set of server platforms as follows:

Supported WebNative Portal Platforms
WebNative Portal software interacts with any of the above WebNative servers and runs on the following platforms:
(SP1 or later) and Windows XP Client OS |
Supported WebNative Clients
WebNative client production users running Macintosh OS 9 or Macintosh OS X can connect to the WebNative server over AFP and mount volumes onto their Mac client desktops. Upon optional enrollment in Xinet PC Support, an unlimited number of Windows production users can connect to the WebNative server and mount volumes onto their Windows client desktops.
All web users can connect to the WebNative server through any standard web browser, from machines running Macintosh OS 9, Macintosh OS X, or Microsoft Windows-compatible PCs.
Supported Platforms for Integrated Backup/Recovery
WebNative Archive integrates with two types of third-party backup and recovery software. The backend software you need is determined by the WebNative server platform that you use:
Macintosh OS X Intel, Linux, Sun Sparc-Solaris
FlashNet, from Software Generation Ltd. (SGL), is the backup software that integrates with WebNative Archive on Unix servers. A license for FlashNet and one FlashNet Jukebox Module (which provides control for a single tape changer with up to 40 slots and 2 drives) is included with your purchase of a new license of WebNative Archive on Unix. Additional modules for different sized tape-changers and high-speed device support can be purchased as needed to add archiving capacity. For more information, see our FlashNet page.
Microsoft Windows
Backup Exec from Symantec is the backup software required for integration with WebNative Archive on Windows servers. A license for Backup Exec is not included with WebNative Archive but can be purchased from Symantec or through your Authorized Xinet Integrator.
