“Ad agencies have realized they can make money out of asset management, so whether they charge per click or whether they charge a maintenance fee, it works for them. It’s another revenue source.’

HUB+ LEVERAGES THE POWER OF XINET WEBNATIVE SUITE

hub+, Omnicom Group’s global advertising production agency, provides a multi-medium fulfilment solution, focusing on TV, print, direct marketing and online for an expansive list of clients. With access to the resources and buying power of the world’s largest marketing services group, hub+ leverages the power of Xinet® WebNative® Suite to deliver to its clients a competitive advantage.

hub+ chose Xinet to provide industry-standard customizable software without the need to form a development team. The production agency found that Xinet FullPress® and WebNative worked pretty much straight from the box. By utilizing Xinet’s WebNative Portal, hub+ could easily tailor WebNative to a client’s visual and functional requirements. Portal enables hub+ to service clients better by giving them secure access to their assets 24 hours a day. This empowers clients to collaborate more efficiently with other vendors and guarantees consistent branding. Another key strength of the Xinet offering is that it compliments hub+’s existing suite of production tools. Using WebNative Portal and WebNative, hub+ provides clients with digital asset management capabilities that integrate seamlessly with production workflows.

For example, hub+ runs a marketing website called Dealer Central for Renault’s dealership network. A link to WebNative Portal, within Dealer Central, enables the management of a library of assets for dealers and their agencies to access. hub+ implemented an automated log-in process between the website and WebNative Portal, eradicating the need for multiple passwords – a major consideration for the end user.

In another instance, hub+ produced a simple online approvals system for Levi Strauss Signature and its creative agencies. Assets are saved on to a

FullPress volume; users then log in to approve or reject artwork files and request amends via Portal. An automated system-generated e-mail ensures that all parties are alerted following any comments, approvals or rejections.

With WebNative Suite, hub+ can hold high-resolution assets centrally and repurpose them for multiple uses. The interface is intuitive and fits directly into existing workflows.

“Xinet’s WebNative Portal allows us to easily develop and brand sites for multiple clients without changing our infrastructure and without doing too much software development. It has become a vital part of our offering. More importantly, for our clients, it has become an essential tool to help facilitate shorter speed to market times which saves them money,” said Nick Beagley, head of Information Technology at hub+.
